Landscaping
Beds, plants, lawns, and lighting — the living part of the yard, planned for Gulf Coast heat and rain.
Landscape design & installationPlanting beds, shrubs and trees, mulch or pine straw, and edging, designed for the Gulf Coast and installed by the same crew that planned it.Includes a site visit to look at sun, shade, drainage, and what is already growing, a planting plan you can see before anything is ordered, bed preparation: clearing, shaping, and amending the soil, and more.
Sod installationA new lawn in a day: the old one stripped, the ground graded and prepped, and fresh sod laid tight and rolled.Includes removal of the old lawn or weeds, rough and finish grading so water runs away from the house, soil preparation and amendment where the ground needs it, and more.
Landscape lightingLow-voltage LED lighting for paths, steps, retaining walls, and trees, so the yard works after dark and the front of the house looks the part.Includes a walk-through at the site to place fixtures where they are useful, not just where they fit, low-voltage transformer with a timer or dusk-to-dawn control, led path, step, wall, and accent fixtures, and more.
Hardscape
Walls, fire pits, and walkways, built on a compacted base so they stay flat through wet winters.
Paver patios & walkwaysBackyard paver patios, flagstone walkways, and steps built on a proper compacted base so they stay flat through Gulf Coast rain.Includes layout marked on the ground so you can see the size and shape before we dig, utility locates through alabama 811 before any digging, excavation and a compacted crushed-stone base, and more.
Retaining wallsBlock retaining walls with drainage behind them, to hold a slope or level a sloping yard.Includes a site visit to look at the slope, the soil, and where the water goes now, utility locates through alabama 811 before any digging, excavation and a compacted crushed-stone footing, and more.
Fire pits & backyard renovationsFire pits and seating walls, planned with the lawn, the beds, and the lighting, and built by one crew.Includes a plan for the whole backyard, even if it is built in stages, grading and drainage before anything is built on top, backyard paver patio and walkways on a compacted base, and more.
Drainage & irrigation
Water moved where it should go: away from the house, off the lawn, and onto the plants on a schedule.
French drains & yard gradingStanding water fixed at the source: regrading, French drains, downspout drains, and catch basins, then the lawn put back.Includes a site visit after rain if possible, to see where the water actually sits, utility locates through alabama 811 before any digging, regrading so the ground falls away from the house, and more.
Irrigation & sprinkler repairNew sprinkler systems zoned for the yard, and repairs to the one you have: heads, valves, leaks, controllers, and dead zones.Includes a site walk to map the zones the yard needs, utility locates through alabama 811 before any trenching, backflow prevention as your water utility requires, and more.
Outdoor construction
Decks and fences built to code and to last, planned with the rest of the yard rather than bolted on.
Deck buildingWood decks built on proper footings, flashed at the house, and railed to code, planned as part of the yard rather than bolted onto it.Includes a layout on site so you can see the size and height before anything is built, footings dug and poured to suit the soil and the deck's load, ledger board flashed and fastened to the house correctly, and more.
Fence installationPrivacy fences and gates with posts set in concrete, laid out on the line and built to take Gulf Coast wind and rain.Includes layout on the property line, with a conversation about where the line actually is, utility locates through alabama 811 before any post holes, posts set in concrete at a depth that suits the soil, and more.
One crew, one sequence
Why the order matters
Book these from three companies and each one shows up when it suits them. Book them from one crew and they happen in this sequence, so the lawn is never trenched and the wall never has to come back out.
Grade
The ground is shaped so water runs away from the house before anything sits on it.
Drain
French drains, downspout lines, and catch basins go in while the yard is still open.
Irrigate
Sprinkler lines are trenched now, so the new lawn is never dug up later.
Build
Walls, decks, and fences, and the patio with them: the heavy work, on a compacted base.
Paver patios & walkways, Retaining walls, Deck building, Fence installation
Sod
Fresh sod laid tight over prepared ground, once nothing else will drive across it.
Plant
Beds, shrubs, and trees, then mulch or pine straw to a clean line.
Light
Fixtures set into the walls and along the paths, aimed after dark.

Free site visit, written quote
Not sure which of these you need?
Describe the yard in plain words — what it does when it rains, what you want to use it for — and we will tell you what it involves, in what order, and what it costs.
- Call or send the form. Tell us what you are picturing and where the property is. We come back to you within one business day.
- We walk the property. We look at the ground, the drainage, the sun and shade, and what is already there, and talk through options and budget.
- One written quote. One scope and one price for the whole job — lawn, hardscape, drainage, fence — in the order it should be built.
- We build it. One crew from the first dig to the last light, with a call if anything changes along the way.
